Highland is known for many things, but caring for each other is one thing that stands out the most. The Highland Parks & Recreation Department strives to serve everyone’s interests and is excited to have the city council’s endorsement to begin a campaign to raise funds for our new all- abilities playground!
So what is the difference between people with and without disabilities when it comes to play? The answer is simple; nothing! All kids want to experience the feeling of flight on a zip-line, butterflies when going down a slide, joy when swinging back and forth, or spinning on a merry-go-round.
